SUMMARY:

Remember to fill out all the sections in bold letters otherwise, the flat file will be rejected.

Some of the areas to be filled out: 

  • SKU: The product SKU IDs will be displayed. 
  • External product ID: Choose appropriate product ID types (e.g. UPC or ASIN). 
  • Item Name: Type in the title. 
  • Product description: The text near the bottom of the listing page. 
  • Feed product type: Specific to the home category flat file. 
  • Price. 
  • Condition type (e.g. New). 
  • Fill out sale price and start and end date (YY-MM-DD) of sale if you wish to have the product on sale. 
  • Business section. 
  • Product dimensions and mass information. 
  • Bullet point features. 
  • Search terms. 
  • Image section: Input a link that is hosting the image chosen. 
  • Fulfillment section: Default - fulfill yourself (FBM) or Amazon NA - Amazon will fulfill this for you (FBA). 
  • Variation (parent-child relationship). 
  • Color section.
